9th Annual Children's Parade
The Immaculate Conception Family Fun and Perch Festival and the Ira Township Parks & Rec. Dept. are calling all boys and girls to join us for our 8th annual children's parade on Saturday, July 17th at 12 NOON! Line up will begin at the Lion's Club on Short Cut at 11:00am. This year's theme will be "Celebrate Sports!" Prizes will be awarded for the best costume and decorations. Parade begins at the Lion's Field on Short Cut Road. Decorate your wagons! Decorate your bikes! Decorate your scooters! Join the fun! Grassy Area ActivitiesThe grassy area is located between the tent and school. This year, while you are strolling through the Grassy Area look for fun activities for all ages including: The Rolling rock Climbing Wall, Water Slide, Fairy Booth, Moon Walk, Face and Nail Painting, Petting Farm, Putt-Putt Golf, Princess and Prince Perch Contest, Prettiest Pet Contest, Water Wars, and more! Friday: 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. Saturday: 12 Noon - 10 p.m. (Special! Grassy Area wrist band for Kids from 12:00 Noon to 5:00pm just $20 unlimited rides)!! Sunday: 12 Noon - 9 p.m. PAVILION ENTERTAINMENT This year the Perch Festival is proud to have Amazing Clark in our weekend of fun line-up. His great shows will be presented on Saturday, July 17 at 1:00pm, 2:30pm and 5:00pm in the grassy area gazebo and Sunday July 18 at 1:00pm, 2:30pm and 4:00pm in the pavilion. Between his shows, Amazing Clark will be entertaining our guests with his balloon and magic artistry! GRASSY SPECIAL SATURDAY ACTIVITIES Ann Arbor HANDS-ON Museum Back again for a second year, the Ann Arbor HAND'S-ON MUSEUM will be presenting SUPER SCIENCE DAY at the Perch Festival on Saturday, July 17th from 12:30pm to 4:30pm in the grassy area. The HANDS-ON MUSEUM brings in over a dozen hands-on activities for preschoolers to adult - fun for everyone!
